I am a proud Houstonian, born and raised in Northside H-town. My PhD is in American History with a focus on Mexican-Americans in Houston. My dissertation examined the inclusion and exclusion of Mexicans in Houston between 1900-1939. My goal is to recover stories of 20th century Mexican-Americans in the Bayou City.
